Mr. Edward Swayduck, President (1948-1975) of The Amalgamated Lithographers of America.

Edward Swayduck was a very forward-thinking charismatic individual with a philosophy that is unpopular amongst Unions in the present day as it was in the 1960s. While the lithographic arts and printing industry railed against the churn of innovative automation sparked by the growing American capitalist economy and technological growth, Swayduck embraced automation professing that it will be the driving force to better work conditions, wages, employment, and expand the lithographic industry.
